Your Vault

Everything Yaapan knows about who you are, who may act on whose behalf, and which accounts it is connected to — in one place, with a way to disconnect anything.

Looking for the notepad that stays on this device and never reaches a server? That is Private Notes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is my vault data stored?

On Yaapan's servers (Google Firestore), against your signed-in account — not only in this browser. That is what lets Yaapan Ji answer from Telegram and the companion app show the same information.

Can Yaapan staff read my vault?

Access is restricted to your own account. Credentials for connected services are encrypted at rest and are never sent to any browser or app — not even yours.

Does the vault ever show my passwords or tokens?

No. For connected accounts Yaapan shows only that a connection exists, when it expires, and a button to end it. The credential itself never leaves the server.

What are delegations?

They record who may act on whose behalf — for example, that you may handle your father's electricity bills. Yaapan checks these before acting for anyone but you.

How do I disconnect an account?

Use Disconnect next to any connected account. Yaapan stops using it immediately and deletes the stored credential.

What happens if I clear my browser data?

Nothing is lost. Your vault lives on the server against your account, so signing in again on any device restores the same view.

Can my family see my vault?

Not unless you grant it. Household members and delegations are separate: adding a member does not give them access to your data.

Is my Aadhaar or PAN stored here?

Only identifiers you have chosen to save, such as a vehicle number or electricity consumer ID. Yaapan never asks for full Aadhaar or PAN numbers, and you should not store them here.

Can I edit or delete what is stored?

Yes. Identity details and saved records can be edited or deleted from the agent pages, and any connected account can be disconnected here.

Why do some entries say "read-only"?

Those come from the outside world — live prices, PNR status, bank SMS — rather than from you. Yaapan shows them with their source and age, but editing them would not change reality.

How long is my data kept?

Records you create are kept until you delete them. Fetched data and message history expire automatically — each screen shows its own retention.

Do I need to sign in to use the vault?

Yes. Without a signed-in account there is no vault to show — the page cannot identify whose data to load.

Is this the same as Private Notes?

No. Private Notes is a separate scratchpad that stays in this browser and never reaches a server. The vault is the real, account-backed store the agents actually use.

Is the vault free?

Yes. No ads, no premium tier, and your data is never sold or used for advertising.
