Is my data secure?

Your data is stored in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device — there are no servers, no cloud uploads, no analytics on your documents.

Can someone access my vault from another device?

No. Data is stored only in your browser on this device. It cannot be accessed from other devices or browsers.

What happens if I clear my browser data?

Your vault will be cleared. Export your data periodically as a backup.

What types of documents can I store?

ID Documents (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport), Passwords, Financial docs, Medical records, and any other text-based information.

Can I store photos of documents?

Currently, the vault stores text data only. For document images, we recommend using your phone's secure gallery or a dedicated document scanner app.

Does it show expiry reminders?

Yes. Documents with expiry dates approaching within 30 days are flagged with a warning badge.

Is there a password to access the vault?

Not currently. Anyone with access to your browser can see the data. Use your device's lock screen as the first line of defense.

How many documents can I store?

Hundreds. localStorage supports 5-10MB of data, more than enough for text-based document records.

Can I export my vault data?

Yes. Use the export feature to download your vault as JSON for backup or migration.

Is this free?

Completely free. No ads, no premium tiers, no tracking.
